About the Play:
The Importance of Being Earnest follows two young men, each leading a double life to make the best of their restricted existences. Ernest is in town where arrangements for a marriage are made and quickly disrupted by chaos in the countryside. When Ernest becomes Jack and Algernon becomes Ernest, they are forced to conjure absurd lies and face ridiculous reality.
