Red Brick Company Goes Black

Bild
Red Brick Company Goes Black is a revue with predominantly dark humour as it is heavily influenced and infused with Monty Python and Rowan Atkinson. As host, Melanie Röper guides through the evening when the actors sit in the last row of the audience and wait. It is up to the audience to decide which play shall be performed next but they do not know what they will choose when they call up a number between 1 and 22.

However, the first play at the beginning is set so that Toby can give the audience a “Warm Welcome.” The lady in charge of the clock, Marlis Fellmann, starts and stops the clock at each play, and only if the actors are able to perform all plays in 88 minutes, are they able to prevent the performance of the 23rd play where Miss Death will pay a visit. But before that play can be seen, the audience will experience a truly hilarious night with many jokes, misunderstandings and quite a few corpses.

Pyramus will meet Thisbe in a very Midsummer Night way. Together with some readings and monologues, a specialist lecture, as well as an educational part about Shakespearean acting, this collection will entertain the audience. Also be prepared for an improvisation number as well as for a musical performance.
